Project: Naming the SkyDome
Objective:To name the world's first major sports and entertainment stadium with a fully retractable roof, truly one of the wonders of the modern world.
The challenge was to come up with a short, memorable name that captured the essence of this grand facility with its distinguishing feature being a fully retractable roof.
Solution: We were pleased to be one of the creators of the original SkyDome name which is short, memorable and, most importantly, evokes the purpose of the remarkable retractable roof, namely to open the stadium/Dome to the Sky and heavens (weather permitting, of course).
Project: Create name for a new, leading edge California high-tech consulting company.
Objective: Find a name that is not found in the dictionary (ie a coined word) that is suggestive of the wide range of unique services offered by the firm and reflective of the versatility of their people.
Solution: From the root word “dexterity” we quickly came up with several possible names, one of which was “Adexta”. The new company's tagline is “Strategic Execution” in which can also be seen the “ex” from Adexta. New Managing Director of Adexta said of the naming process: “Can't think of anything that could have gone better and I'd refer Brandability all day long if I could”.
Project: "It's Toronto Time!"
Objective: To create a new slogan reflecting the resurgence of the City of Toronto, its hopes and aspirations and all the great things the City has to offer.
